After two shoots at receptions featuring master DJ, Peter Gallotta, it's become painfully clear that the sound is completely unusable if you want to create a top knotch demo. The music is constantly changing, the DJ's mic is mixed with the music, waiters and waitresses with trays of fruit cups and drinks from the bar constantly cutting in front of the camera at the wrong time..so today we shot Peter performing the bride and groom intro, the dance introductions, the toast...all the main events at the reception in a quiet insert shoot stage at 8am this morning...just after a huge thunderstorm.... We recreated a live reception hall with satin fabric backdrop and his terrific up lighting arrays of LEDs. Tomorrow we record his narration..then it's edit time.
